“You have your brush, you have your colors, you paint paradise, then in you go.” — Nikos Kazantzakis, poet and novelist 18831957I love this quote. Not just as a painter or a writer (althoughI'm both), but more because this is my philosophy towards life.We have to create our own lives with purpose and creativity. I paint for fun. I paint for therapy. I go outdoors (walkingand hiking and plein air painting) to get out, to be with nature. I know some really good artists, and believe me when I tell you I am only practicing! But if you like what you see, if you're interested in purchasing or contracting a painting, or want to see the originals, please let me know.

I just pulled off the highway on the way to Kilouea in Kauai. Wish I knew the name of this mountain—
This is Lucille. She has lived in Locke California for a long time, I'm told!
Back to William Pond. The water was low and the trees were starting to turn colors.
I like this one because it was quick and loose—and pink!
View of Old Sac. This is actually an oil painting.
Another very quick pastel. I like the looseness and the colors when it isn't very studied.
This is in Volcano, California—in the gold country.
Land Park, near the WPA Garden
Most people call this the Sunrise Footbridge, in Fair Oaks
Fal colors in Winters
I keep painting the bluffs in fair Oaks. Some day I'll get it right!
Again with the bluffs.
Fair Oaks bluffs, a different season.
One of my best. Eucalyptus at William Pond Park.
Along the river near Old Sac.
The Delta King in Old Sac
If you're going over to Half Moon Bay, you'll see this view of Crystal Springs Reservoir. It took about an hour and a half and worked out pretty well!
